Food Food Everywhere but not a bit to eat

I know I can't be the only person with picky eaters but I'm looking for Some advice.

For my 55 gallon I need bottom feeder food. I'm currently using just a staple bottom feeder pellet. I also managed to find a supplement that was freeze dried krill etc that they get twice per week, and it's a great sinker. However I was advised to switch from the staple pellet to shrimp pellets. I go out and buy 'sinking shrimp pellets' and do they sink? no they just swirl around and stick to my filter. haha. I also tried I believe wardley ones and they just floated. And trust me when I say there is no chance those fish are going up to the surface to eat. Any advice?

Also I haven't narrowed down the right food for my 2 moors. They are not interested in flakes on the top, or pellets that float, that's ok with me. But the goldfish pellets are so itty bitty that they get lost between the gravel on the bottom and can't be found. So currently I'm cutting up the above staple pellets i'm using, but I know that goldfish require their own foods. Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

Jeez, you've got some picky fish! My Danios just eat anything that looks like food...

There is a brand of of Algae Blocks called HikarI or something like that from a store like Petsmart or Petco that I plan on trying when I have corys. They are blocks that (hopefully) sink to the bottom and provide extra supplements for your bottom feeders. I am sorry that I have not tried them yet, since I do not have my own bottom feeders yet, but I was wondering if you've tried them or something similar. Well, at least I tried to help... :-\

If you are from the U.S., try and find Omega One pellets for goldfish.  I am a devout Omega One fan, and love their foods for my fish.  I think a lot of the PetSmart stores also carry it, and you can find it on ebay.   Goldfish have different needs than tropicals, and should be fed an esspecialyl for them goldfish food.

Believe it or not I haven't tried Algae blocks, I don't really have anyone to eat them.
But the containers of opened an unused fish food in my cupboard will attest to my picky eaters! haha
