food coloring

I just had a random idea to put blue food coloring in the water to make it look nice.
Will it harm the fish ?
And I was also thinking it might stain my rocks and stuff ?
Anyone know ?

 

Yep will stain the silicone where the tank is sealed also. Not sure whether it would hurt your fish or not.

if you want your water to be a different colour, I believe that lfs sell different coloured lights, just depends on whether or not you have live plants

 

I have sen people use wallpapers to get different colors. u can use blue wallpaper to get blue water
