Fluval Spec 16 Betta Tank Build

I recently purchased the Fluval Spec 16 to replace the Spec 2.6G Betta Tank. The Spec 16 is an absolutely stunning sleek design, and I wish to keep that trend with the hardscape. The Betta Fish will transfer over to this new aquarium eventually. In the 60G, I am going to change out 20 pounds of Dragon Stone with Seiryu Stone that is coming in this week; therefore, I will have a stock pile of Dragon Stones to possibly use.
Here are the current plants that I have in the 2.6G aquarium.
The 16G, I want it to be a Betta, and I am willing to experiment too such as adding tank mates with the Betta. I am also willing to try out different plants, different hard scapes, different theme, gravel with planted substrate, etc. Please share your thoughts!

I provided two pics of the Spec 16, and I will eventually write up a review once I get it up and running. Many thank you for sharing your thoughts!

Wow, are you going to use driftwood? I think Java moss covered spiderwood would be amazing.

I watched the Pecktec video on this tank last week.
It's a nice looking tank.
Curious to see it when it's set up.

I do have Willow Moss that is a bigger version of Java Moss in my 60G that I can transfer over to the tank. I can also purchase Spiderwood at my LFS too! It's not a bad idea, thanks for your input!

I saw the video too and sure enough, I went to my LFS and there it was too. It's $200 online, but my LFS had it for sale for only $139.99. So, it seems to be cheaper at LFS that stocks this new tank.

That tank does look stunning! I've also been looking for this tank either at my LFS or Amazon and also thinking of moving my Betta to it. He's currently in a SPEC V aquascaped as a playground for him (I have 6 SPEC V's...the addiction is real). Can't decide whether to move the theme or do something completely different. First step, find and buy this tank. Good luck with yours hope to see updates as you set it up.
