i currently own a fluval sea 13.5 and I’m trying to figure out what the PUR value is without white lights. The reason being is that the white lights are causing algae to grow that I’m trying to avoid. I’d like to know if the blue only lights are enough for my coral.

No way will the blue lights alone be enough for corals.
How long is your photoperiod?
Are you using RO water or tap water
How much are you feeding?
What algae is growing?

12 hour photo period. RO Water. I have two clowns getting some pellets every morning, it appears to be bryopsis hair algae.

What are yours water parameters ammonia, nitrite, nitrates, and phosphates?
What’s the TDS of tour RO water?
The problem is likely the 2 clowns is too much for tour system. That tank is fairly small. So they eat the pellets quickly? The food should be all gone in a minute or less IMO.
What’s tour water changes schedule like?

I reduced my light usage and introduced a goby to the tank. The algae is cleaning up nicely

3 fish should be plenty for that tank. I wouldn’t add anymore. Glad it’s going in the right direction.
