Fluval Freshwater and plant 2.0 VS Current USA Satellite Plus Pro

So I've decided to invest in a new light for my planted aquarium because the is not going to work and all my plants are dying. I talked to my LFS guy and he says he can get both the light and the Current USA Satellite Plus Pro light in at lower prices than I can find online (about 50 dollars discount on each). He recommended the Fluval light to me because he said it had a "better spectrum and seemed more powerful" but I just want to get a few outside opinions before I make a choice. also he said my Current Ramps timer would work with the Fluval light just only on one channel. Thanks a bunch
