fluval E heater.

I have the new fluval E heater. Which is the best postion to put it in the tank? Thanks

 

I set my heaters up on a diagonal so that the inlet from the filter flows past it, I find it gives me a good even temp throughout the tank that way, and keep it diagonal otherwise the heat goes straight up to the sensor and it will shut down thinking the water is warmer than it actually is

 

+1 to above had to place mine diagonal or it would flash lf for low flow

 

I keep mine straight up and down since I have lots of flow in the one tank they are in. I have two koralia evo 1400's and my return pumps are two maxijet 4500's.

 

I have two set vertically close to the HOB intake in 2 different tanks. Have one set horizontally directly under the intake on another tank.

I keep mine submersed with no problems.
