Fluval 4 filter

Hey all, recently got a tank from a friend and it came with an old model Fluval 4 internal filter but its missing the suction cup bracket to attach it to side of tank. Does anyone know if they are still available as a replacement part? Does the suction bracket from the Fluval 4plus fit the same? Thanks

No, the U series are the newer models

 

I think the first link will be your best bet but I'm not sure how shipping works since you're in Canada. I'm not sure why but those brackets are pretty common in the UK which to me seems pretty strange. All I did was Google "Fluval 4 internal filter suction bracket" and they came up. Hope one of them ships to Canada.

and if they did, the shipping would likely be ridiculous anyway so I think I'm just going to try to fashion my own bracket somehow

 

This might not be the best looking but you can look for the suction cups that have a little "O" and then run some zip ties through them and the filter. Hope that makes sense. Haha

 

zip ties definitely crossed my mind lol.....was able to make a base of sorts with suction cups to at least sit it on inside the tank...so far its workin fine
