I recently replaced a filter on my guppy tank. Having had some problems with the filters I was using ( some cheap Chinese ones from Amazon ) I decided to go for something of better quality and went for a fluval 107. I installed it a few days ago, I bled it as per the instructions and after a few hours it was running silently with a good output. But every now and then it gets noisy and the output slows or stops for a few minutes, then it starts to work properly again. It's obviously got air in it. I have re-bled it again and slowly tipped it to try and remove the air but it keeps doing it. I have double checked the seals and pipe fittings and there doesn't appear to be any leaks.
Any ideas?

I usually have good luck getting my fluvals quiet by tipping back n forth n side to side as you did and it should fix it up. Triple check your connections just to be positive.

This works to stop the noise for a while but after an hour or so the noise returns and the flow stops.
