Flowerhorn vs Goldfish.

Recently , my brother bought a 10 months old flowerhorn from the LFS.
He fed small fishes , but today he tried to feed goldfish. The flowerhorn tried to eat the fish but he failed.
The goldfish counterattacked him and killed the flowerhorn.
What a bizzare incident !

 

That's sad and I'm sorry it happened, but maybe he should stay away from feeder fish. FHs don't need feeder fish. It can be very unhealthy for them.

That is bizarre, and I agree with the above, most fish don't need to eat other fish. How big was the flower horn, and just how many feeders did he dump in there? It must have been a lot to overpower a strong fish like that.

He was a mid size flowerhorn and the goldfish was a calico.
