Flowerhorn upgrade

My flowerhorn that was in a 55 got an upgrade to a 75 and he’s loving all the space he’s only about 5 inches right now but the day after thanksgiving he’ll be 5 months old. He’s getting used to everything still so the lights are off but he’s still as active as ever. Plus and exclusive look at the pig painting

Omg that pig painting looks so good.

Your setup looks awesome! And your flowerhorn is so cute!

Also, side note, I notice you have a roll of bounty under your tank. Number 6 rule of fish keeping: Always have bounty. Lol

Where did you get him? What type/variety is he? Do you think he'll have a big kok when he is older? His kok looks big ATM.

I got him from a place called flowerhorn805. He’s a pearly red dragon. I think his kok will grow to be big because most flowerhorns his age don’t have a kok this big so he has the chance to be huge

Are there specific types of flowerhorns that get bigger koks than others?

There’s not really a certain type it’s all up to water quality food quality and the genes of the parents. But there are some that look way different then the average flowerhorn. Like mine is a red dragon which is one of the most common types but there is also a kinda strange one called a red monkey flowerhorn you can look up. I would add a pic but then it will get removed for copyright.
And also my second favorite is the Thai silk flowerhorn that one day I’ll get
