So I currently have a 130 gallon with a 40 gallon sump. I had 4 main fish in there: a 10 inch oscar, a 7 inch oscar, a 7 inch blood parrot, and a 4 inch flowerhorn. That 10 inch oscar was always at the top of the pecking order and kept my flowerhorn in check but a few days ago he jumped out of the tank and passed away. Now that he is gone my flowerhorn has no one to keep him in check and he is starting to beat on the other fish. This concerns me as that other oscar has never been one to fight back and that blood parrot can't because of his deformed mouth. I plan to do some observing over the next few days but if there is indeed a problem here are my only options:
- Bring the flowerhorn back to where I got him (I have never done this and would hate to do it)
- move all my community fish from my 55 to my new 29 and let him have that tank to himself
Which one do you think would be better for him and what is the likely hood there will be problem? Thanks
