Flower with damaged stem

    Today my aponogeton flower sprouted. However I just noticed that the stem is a bit damaged. Maybe I accidentally smushed it or my naughty fish decided to nibble in it.... Will the flower still grow or is it dead? :(((

    It could've just gotten dried out by the lights.
