Flower horn with hole in the head need help.

Hi I have a flowerhorn about 7in and it has hole in the head. I guess it alredy had it when I got the fish. I just had a question on how to treat it I am using API ganeral cure and it dose not seem to be helping can I use this medicin at a stronger dose that will not harm the fish. Should I add aquarium salt to the water.

In the beginning of the illness -when I started treating it- He had clear Poop. Now about a week and a 1/2 later he has a bunch or holes on his head and doesn't eat very much at all. I did the normal treatment for a general cure but it did not work. Can I double the dose or something like that to make it more powerful? And also should I add API aquarium salt to the water.
