Floor And Tank Weight

Good afternoon everyone. I’m currently trying to put another tank in my room!
40G breader
I believe that should be like 500 lbs when it’s full
If I’m not mistaking that part of the house is an extension
I’m still on the first floor
It’s one floor above me
And then the basement below me
I currently have a 75G and a heavyyyy stand/draw
Maybe I can put the other tank on the other side of the room
What’s are some ways I can tell if weight would be a issue for my new tank

If you're truly worried, ask a contractor if the floor can support the total ~1300 pounds like that
I wouldn't be worried though because (assuming it's legal) an extension still has to be up to building code

500lbs is like 2-3 people standing next to each other. Would that worry you?

Yes I’m a bit worried(just a little) the last I want is for my floor to cave in.
Maybe I need a lot more weight for that but it’s better to be safe than sorry
And it will be more than 1300 pounds

no not at all
But it I had maybe 12 people in my room and add 3 more
I’d be careful

You're right, probably closer to or above 1500 now that I actually calculate it (minus the stand)

Right but including everything else I have
Tv. Huge tv stand/draw
(That’s veryyyy heavy)
Trust me I’ll have over 2000 pounds if I truly add it up.

I’d love both tanks to be on one side of the room but that might be pushing it

Hmmm, I think asking a contractor to check the structure out would be a good option
