Floating algae on plant (Amazon sword)

Caterpie

Hello everyone!
I’m asking this question just to make sure, since I’m new on this. Are those algae floating from the leaves of the Amazon sword ok? They don’t bother me at all, but I just want to make sure it’s ok to keep them. What I have noticed is that since they appeared, my Amazon frogbit started to get brown and dying easily, so I tried adding plant fertilizer twice a week instead of once, and now they seem much better (I believe the algae and plants compete for these nutrients).
Thank you !

I would remove them for two reasons
1. They might block sunlight from getting to you swords
2. They complete against your other plants

Do you know how to get rid of it? When I touch it, it’s very attached to the plants, so manually doesn’t seem like a good idea. Thank you for answering :)

Get a 10% bleach solution, dip the plant in for 5 minutes and see if you can scrape it off with your hand ,make sure to rinse the plant well before putting back in the tank
