So my snail likes to get right up in my plants and winds up dislodging them. Ive had to replant 4 times this week. Should I trim away some of the roots and replant? I don't want to kill anything but this is getting annoying. ImageUploadedByFish Lore Aquarium Fish Forum1404448453.941939.jpg

I would not trim the roots. I would have placed the plant in a container with whatever substrate I were using and covered the top with a thick layer of gravel or river stones, so the plant could support the snail.

I would have also moved the snail yo a different tank.

Trimming the roots will just give the plant less support. I would replant it with roots intact and put some rocks or something around the base to hold it in place.

Thanks I'll try some rocks. It was in there super snug before I decided to move it like a fool. Now one little bump..... My other tank hasn't cycled yet so maybe I'll move my snail later. Thx

So maybe the snail is not to blame? :;smack

We all do things like that.

caught me..... I'll split the blame since he can't defend himself.
