Hello everyone,
I have a Flame GouramI that is definitely not looking good. It has been extremely pale and bloated for the past few days and it seems to be lacking in strength as it gets pushed by currents that have not affected it in the past. It also seems reclusive and timid, often taking shelter in vegetation near the bottom of the tank which I know is atypical of labyrinth fish. Can anyone help?

Flame gouramis don't like a lot of flow, it could be exhausted, so try reducing the flow. It could also be constipated, so monitor its feces. It could have indigestion as well, so try feeding it a pea, de-shelled and boiled or cooked. You could try an API general cure.

Thank you, I will try the pea and if that doesn't do it I'll go for the treatment.

Is your tank fully cycled? What other fish are in the tank?
