I have 1 flame dwarf gourami in my 10 gallon with neon tetras. I had 7 to start and now I only have 5. Water is good. Is the gourami killing them? What is a good tank mates if not neon tetras

HIghly doubtful. Neons are notoriously overbred and not the most hardy of fish, but once established do just fine with the dwarf. Just keep up with the water changes, particularly with a small tank, and you will eventually find a group that will

How long do you have them? How long is the tank running? Is the tank cycled and how often do you change water? What and how much do you feed? Do you see any killing marks on the Neons? There are a lot of questions before the right answer can be provided.

It's certainly possible especially in a tank as small as 10 gallons but like Fisch asks, there a lot of possibilities including what fallfever says.

The tank has been setup for about a year and I do 50% water changes every 2 weeks on all my tanks. Never had a problem with fish dying until now. Maybe just a couple of bad neons

Most likely, if the Neons were in the tank since a year without issues, there is more behind it. Like fallfever says, they may be overbred, but if established they are bomb proof. Did anything changed in the tap water, did anything accumulate over time?
Fish grew, poop more, more Nitrates that may not sufficiently dilute with a 50%WC. Also minerals may slowly build and may need some more frequent water changes for a time to reduce the amount.

Then I wouldn't rule out the Gourami attacking them. Often when something is added to a tank, Gourami don't respond well.
