I was lucky enough to get this tank for free from someone at my mum's work and plan to patch it up and upgrade my minnow tank.

Unfortunately, it is cracked, and I was wondering what you all recommend the best way to fix it would be? Would I just seal it up with Aq safe silicone or replace the whole glass side?

Thanks!

I would get a new piece of glass cut for the side and re-install the new piece. To be on the safe side, since you are removing an entire panel, I would probably re-silicone the entire tank to err on the side of caution.
With all that said, it may be easier (and cheaper) to just buy a new tank

If any tank is under 29 gal, it’s gonna be cheaper, safer, and way more time efficient to buy a new tank.
