I'm dying laughing with what you are doing. WTG while we are talking about being healthyyyyyyy
I’m sorry. Lol. Seriously though, I’ve always thought (within reason!) eat what you want, exercise and be active, works for me.

I walk about a mile a day before I work...I do jog on occasions but I really hate jogging. I guess most of my fitness is chasing my kids around...now that they have bikes I have to run to catch up with them...
that is so not fair! You should get a FerrarI to catch up with them and run them over . hahahaa

I know how you feel. I don't workout or do any exercise as running after my kids seem to be more than enough tiring. 7 miles of walking on a normal day, 10 miles when I'm taking my older son swimming. No car so walking everywhere with 4 year old on his bike, 1 year old in a carrier on my front and backpack on my back. Nice walk with the extra weight.

I bike a lot... And the active work of caring for our animals and big yard, flowerbeds, pastures, etc. combined with biking on Ohio hills keeps me reasonably fit and offsets the hours I sit at a desk in my office.

My parents have a vegetable garden and even a few fruit trees. I love to stop by in the fall and winter to pickup some persimmons.

You should try to grow tomatoes. They are the best when grown by hand because there are no injections that speed up the process or any of that stuff. It's sweet and juicy yummie

Yeah, they grow tomatoes too, but I found that they haven’t this year, which is a shame since I love tomatoes.

I was taught to eat most of my vegetable raw, seeds and everything

Raw is the best because nothing can be taken out of the vegetable itself including the vitamins and iron.

My grandparents and parents always had vegetable gardens growing up. We would pick peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. and eat them right out of the garden after rinsing them with a little water.

I'm glad that I've reached that golden age where I'm not as obsessed about the way I look as I once was.
Don't get me wrong, at 66 yrs. old, I take care of personal hygiene and I do some moderate exercise like swimming and brisk walking a couple of times a week, but I'm no longer obsessed with having bulging biceps and a six pack. I've been there and done that and I can say I'm much happier now that I eat french fries and cheeseburgers when I feel the urge. I've gained about 30 lbs in the last 15 years, but I'm smiling all the way to the fridge and my wife says she loves me just the way I am. That's good enough for me.
If I die tonight...I'll die a happy man.

you mean you don't smell like a skunk? You should love yourself the way you are. It's a good idea and helps with self-esteem. If someone doesn't like you because of how you look then they are a freaken jack because everyone has a problem somewhere.

I was an entertainer for over 20 years before I retired from the business and public life in 2003.
Trust me, there are a lot of "freakin jacks" out there who base their opinions of others on looks alone.

I am not a nut but I feel compelled to stay in shape and eat right (most of the time) I am almost 50 and still train Muay ThaI boxing although I am not competitive. I run 1 or 2 times a week and work out at the gym as well.

I will say that it is WAY harder to stay fit now than it was when I was 25 or 30. Seems like I work 2x as hard for half the results.

I’m not a nut but I do stay active. I do dog walking for my business and I do martial arts for fun. Granted my business IS fun but still. My friend and I are planning on bike riding together like when we were kids once we both have bikes again.

I’m into working out and go to the gym regularly. I’m more into powerlifting and agility type stuff (guess they call that CrossFit now ). I do it because my line of work and lifestyle have demanded it. It’s become such a habit that without it I don’t feel right lol.

There’s a few olderguys (75+)that use the gym I go to. The one guy uses a walker and another guy a cane. They use mostly the machines and a few dumbbells. Makes me think I have no excuse lol!
