Fishy sick, black dots & cloudy eye

HI everyone. My fish seems to have some kind of parasite on him but I can’t figure out what it is. Originally he had a big sore on his mouth and API bacterial treatment worked for that, but he still has cloudy eye, and these weird freakin black dots on his eyes! They’re definitely not a part of the eye itself and is something that attached itself. Ive uses the API bacterial and PrazI Pro to no effect. Should I try the API parasitic general cure? Here’s some pictures for reference in the picture with flash? There are 2, one right below the black of his eye, and another on the bottom right. He also has these dots on top on his spine. Also has a little bit of fin rot. The fins have stopped getting worse(I think) and the black spots on top of his spine come and go( some days there will be 1-3, other days maybe 7-8). I don’t know exactly what I’m doing wrong, I did a 75% water change like a day ago but he’s been sick for almost 2 months now (idk how he’s still alive but he’s a fighter man). I added salt, healthy bacteria, and tested PH at 6.6-6.8. He’s like 7 years old and I don’t know the species

HI and welcome to the site
I'm not an expert and I'm not quiet sure what breed of fish this is, perhaps a flower horn?
With its eyes, from what I can see there is nothing to worry about and the dots on its back seem ok too, they don't look like anything to be worried about, but someone more experienced with this type of fish may say different.
If I can ask a few questions it may help others help you...
What size tank is he in, what is the temp of the water, any other tank mates, what are the last test results taken of the tank water (ph, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate)?

I cannot see the black dots you're describing, do you have a better picture? Also, is he behaving any different aside from losing appetite?

I believe it may be a flowerhorn, but his “horns” are quite small compared to the pictures I saw looking him up. But for the sake of things let’s say he is one. There are these specks of Black grains, somewhat like the size of sand, and they have gotten smaller with medication. Also the dots on his back come and go. He’s in a 60g, alone, temp at 87.5*F, PH 6.8-7, I do not test for others

Yes sometimes he’ll turn to the back corner of the tank and just look away from you as if he’s trying to hide(didn’t always do this). He is acting lethargic and sedated, although normally he’s pretty lively. Smart guy too imo.
also I apologize, the photos aren’t the best but in the first one he has cloudy eye and a spot at the middle bottom and a (now much smaller) on the bottom right the size of a speck. On the second picture it’s on the bottom left it’s a much bigger one

That looks like an Awesome fish!
Right off the bat, I see a potential small problem, his water temp is on the very upper limit of ideal if this is a flowerhorn. I suggest taking it down slowly to 84-85°F. If we're dealing with some kind of infection, lowering the temp a bit would be advisable anyway.
I just have just a few more questions please? How often do you do water changes? Can you get some more pictures of his 'problem areas'--in some bright white light--as well as a picture of the whole fish so we can see what kind of fish, exactly, we are trying to help you with?

We will need ammonia, nitrite and nitrate levels in the tank as well.

I see the black dots. They almost look like normal pigmentation variations-- maybe small wounds but it's difficult to tell in that light, I also see what look like some tiny ulcerations and the eye cloudiness is very apparent, but again, difficult to see clearly in the variable lighting. Better pictures and more information would help immensely! Hope we can help!

ChickenNBogies hI and thank you for more info on the fish and tank. If you don't test for the other parameters in the tank water that might be the issue here. Can you take a sample of your tank water to your local pet shop for testing? And can I ask what water declorinator your using during water changes? Not knowing your water parameters can lead to death of fish or bad illnesses, so it is advisable to get a test kit for yourself

Basing on the mouth position, I'm thinking he's a white giant gourami. His mouth is pointed upwards at an angle, flowerhorns have typical cichlid mouths dead horizontal. It's easy: Does he have two antennae-like fins under his body?

Regarding your problem - does the black dots change position? Or do they just grow/shrink in size?
