after being in the hobby only for a short amount of time, i've realized how both stressful and calm it is.
we are almost always uneasy about tank params, fish illness, pests.. or at least some of us are. I think some people have been in the hobby for so long they've learned to relax and enjoy it. in my case, my first tank was very stressful to set up and for me to understand.. I was constantly worrying about my cycle, plants, etc.. it effected my daily life and made me feel miserable at times.
though worrying will never get you through the problem, you need to take some deep breaths, still your mind, and work your way through this situation. this is my goal to aI'm for.
I love waking up every morning and seeing my fish babies happy and thriving. these little guys have meant so much to me. when i'm stressed out I like to just sit in front of my tank and watch the ecosystem I have maintained. slowly and progressively i'm doing more research to understand what is happening within the glass of my aquarium. it really gives me so much inspiration.
I don't know if I'll get any responses on this. I wouldn't mind reading your adventures with your own tanks myself.
