Fishing For An Idea...

HI all. I currrntly have a simple planted tank (CO2 dosed) with small shoals of Ember Tetras and Rummynose Tetras. I also have Bristlenose Catfish. I'm trying to decide on a showpiece fish, something a bit bigger and doesn't mind being alone, to ad flare to the tank. Any ideas for a good choice? The tank is about 20 gallons (60 litres). Thanks!

you could go for a dwarf gourami or maybe a blue ram

Temperature is the deciding factor here. What is it?

Good thinking. Thanks! I thought I read somewhere that Blue Rams tend to hang around near the bottom?

If your profile is correct you don't really have the room for anymore fish at this time.

If you want to get more meaningful responses, you should let us know what temperature your tank water normally is. And how many embers and rummynoses are in the 20g? That is also essential to knowing how much space you have left and which fish, if any, can do well in that space.

If there's only one and they are the "top fish" they'll swim all over
