Fish varied diet ideas

Hello, I have been feeding my community tank fish with just some TetraMin flakes daily and I want to setup a varied diet. First I am thinking of switching over to a higher quality flake like Omega One. I also am getting freeze dried bloodworms and baby shrimp for the fish. How should I feed my fish with the different foods? Should I feed a certain type of food one day and a different type another day or should I just mix in the different foods everyday? Thanks!

You might get better answers if you tell us the fish you’re keeping.

I tend to feed my fish freeze-dried or frozen foods on tuesday/thursday, then kind of a mix of flakes and pellets most of the rest of the days. Gotta have the pellets because they sink faster so my gmpeacock gusgeons can eat while the danios and teteas fight over the flakes lol

Omega One is good food. My problem is it does not stay as flakes. It gets much finer as I get halfway down the can.
Its to fine for my full grown tiger barbs. Maybe good for fry?

I feed my hooligans a mixture of things, all aquariums have a mix of fish that require both specific and non specific foods.

I use an old fish food pot lid and, for example, one aquarium has a couple of Spirulina wafers, a tiny pinch of flakes, a tiny pinch of granules and two cory pellets....another aquarium just has flakes or freeze dried bloodworm....another had Sirulina wafers and flakes...

Two fasting days per week, usually Sunday and Wednesday

Once a month they all get frozen daphnia or tubifex as a treat.

The fish eat better than I do really.... :D

I have guppies, and occasionally I will give em some veggies like lettuce or spinach or peas. There is a certain way of preparing these, I know for peas you need to remove the shells and cut them into 1/4s so they can eat it. Most fish go crazy for brine shrimp or bloodworms.

I feed frozen blood worms, brine shrimp, beef heart.
Flakes, sinking mixed pellets( black worms, red worms, algea, veggie) .

I just alternate on what I feel like feeding that day.
Usually one for top feeders and one for bottom feeders.

I keep fish, snails, shrimp & a frog together.
