So my mom washed my “microfiber fish tank cloth” with other laundry is it still safe or should I let it soak in water or what?
She used tide detergent and fabric softener ^

I wouldn't worry it would be a small amount, Just be careful and try not to get it in there. If you do just do a water change.

No need to apologize:)

You probably put more gunk into your tanks when you stick your hands and arms in it. :)

Body oil, perfumes, soaps, etc. All of that never washes off completely

I usually use the rattiest looking towel i can find...then hang it on the line when it gets soaked and use again til my weekly laundry trip. Sure doesn't need to be fancy to wipe water off the stand and floor.
