Fish Takeback Event In Indiana/illinois Area

Hey gang, not sure where to post this, but I thought I'd share. This is an event for people to bring in fish, inverts, reptiles, plants that they don't want/can't care for, instead of releasing them into the wild or other problematic solutions.

Aquatic Pet Take-back

It was shared by the Aquarium Fish Sanctuary in Chicago, which helped me to find homes for some rescued tropical fish that I could not keep. These are good people doing good work! I'd like to see the word get out so that less fish can suffer cruel ends, or pollute/destroy native habitats.

That’s an awesome idea! I wish more areas would do this as it could really be beneficial to the ecosystems. To many people just dump their “pets” and ruin nature, perhaps this could help some people be a little more responsible.
