Fish Swimming Vertical

    Just noticed my female sail fin molly swimming vertical waters fine done a 25 % water change today and added new fish please help

    My brother had the same issue on his Molly and platy community. The Molly was being blown about and swimming vertically, after a few days it died but I'm not sure if you have the same issue.

    Can you give us some more information?

    Tank size? What fish do you have in there, and what fish did you just add?

    Water parameters? pH, temp, ammonia, nitrites, nitrates

    It have been in the tank just over a week
    260 litre
    Fish in there rams, rainbows, tetra another molly
    Put in there sword tails, pleco, and corydora

    Can you list specific species and numbers in your tank?

    Everything els normal
    German blue ram
    Bosmani rainbow
    Rummy nose tetra

    Put in there
    Sword tail
    Albino corydora

    May I please ask what "normal" means when it come to your parameters? I would start with another water change and see if that helps any. Any other symptoms besides the swimming incorrectly?

    All 0 it had a water change

    How many of each species do you have and how many of each species did you add?

    Nitrates shouldn't be 0, so I would say your tank isn't cycled. This can cause issues.
