Glad to hear he's doing better! Is he eating now?

I haven’t tried to feed him just yet. I’ll try today. I wanted to make sure he had a good chance to take in the Kanaplex. Hopefully he does eat.

So he's swimming around a lot, having an easier time keeping himself down and under water....but he's not eating still It's almost been two full weeks.

I would still try to feed him the variety of foods. Try soaking them in garlic juice to entice him to try. Has he gone after the food or tried it and spat it out?

It seemed like he was at one point but then kind of ignored it after words. I work during the day today and am going to pick up some stuff for the tank. I’ve got the frozen blood worms and daphnia I can try again. This morning we was sleeping at the bottom of the tank and was still sitting there but he was awake so that’s progress on the floating front. I just added the next dose of Kanaplex last night during the water change.

SO he is eating! Swimming ability is much better and he's spending more time in the middle of the tank and is able to get right to the bottom without automatically floating right back up. He's not eating a ton or as soon as I add food but he's eating it which is what matters

I'm so glad to hear that he's eating! Finally feel glad that he's almost recovered. Slowly feed him small amounts of food at first because he didn't eat for 2 weeks so he probably isn't used to having a full stomach. Then slowly increase the amount to the size of his eye.

I put in a small amount of bug bites, most of it ended up sinking but he got a bit and then I changed the water since I couldn’t get them out and this is the last time I’m supposed to add the Kanaplex if I recall. I can’t wait to get him out of the little tank and move him into his big one again.

Things have been looking good...but it looks like he has a pink spot on his peachy colours scales? I'll post a photo for reference. He's been eating and swimming normally for a few days now so I've been getting the other tank ready but I'm wondering if something else is wrong now

I see nothing wrong with him from the pictures. Just looks like colouration.

Thank god! I’m hoping to move him back in tonight or tomorrow! Thank you for all your help!
