I'm totally new to fish, so I wanted to run this by you experts before I commit to anything. I'm trying to stick with South American fish. For my 29H, I'm thinking...

    6 Leopard Cories
    6 Ember Tetras
    6 Buenos Aires Tetras
    and maybe a snail

Are these numbers good? Do these fish work together? Are these good beginner fish? Thanks!

This stocking sounds fine - you could probably even go with 8x ember tetras (they feel more secure with company).

Yes, that is fine. I would up each group to 8, though.

You can also get a bolivian ram and a dwarf gourami.
