Fish sleeping??

I just got a pair of multis—do they ever sleep in the same shell?

I've never kept fish that behave like this, and I get worried (probably more than I have reason to) when I can't keep track of everyone.

From the basic knowledge I know about shell dwellers in general, they could possibly be breeding. How many shells do you have in the tank?

I'm kind of confused by what you mean.

Usually they can't both fit in the same shell... what precisely is going on?

Somebody's tail was sticking far out of one shell, being pretty visible, and usually, it takes a much closer look for me to figure out if a shell is occupied, so I just thought it was strange. They can get pretty snug in the shells, can't they?
