Fish Rescue, need help!

HI everyone, if there is anyone in the Colorado area on here I need help/advice now! I found a fish tank, looks to be maybe 20 or 30 gallons with 3 giant koi, 2 albino catfish, 1 Tropical fish (red wag platt), and 2 panda cory fish.

The owner of this tank is selling everything for 50$. I want to rescue these fish but have no where to keep them. I currently have a 30 gal tank with 1 goldfish and an empty 3 gal spare tank. I am about to start a 10 gallon betta tank, I figured I can at least put the platt in the betta tank since he looks the worse. With the exception of the koi I know nothing about these fish. Any info on them would help a lot I am doing my research.

I was considering buying a small kiddy pool for the koi. I will contact the owner to see if she’s will let me take any of the fish off her hands. I really do not want these fish and do not have the means to take care of them but I feel I should try to help the terrible situation they are in. If I can not do anything for them, I will at least reach out and try to see if I can save the platy.

Not in Colorado, but I would put the platy in the 10 gallon, the koi and catfish in a kiddie pool, and the Cories in the 30.

I think that should work as a temporary solution. Hope you can rescue them!

Hi

I went to PetSmart and rescued 4 very sick platys. Soon I had 6 fries. I am bringing them back to health in a 15 gallon. I am creating a website to rehome them and I will rescue more. Thank you people for saveing fish.

I'm in CO! I personally would go with the platy in the 10g, koi and catfish in the pool, and cories in the 30 like king said ^^ Eventually, (hopefully soon) my neighbor/best friend Frostclaw is upgrading his 45g pond to a 125g. We can maybe take the koi and/or catfish! This will hopefully be in summer.

Also could you send me the link? I want to check out the fish's conditon...

There's a Colorado aquarium group on FB. People there rescue and rehome fish all the time.
