Tested the water last night because I lost another male guppy, the water was fine but the PH was low. 6.7. Usually I have the trouble of getting my PH lower. Now I'm having the trouble of getting my PH higher. Lost two more guppy fry, too. I think I might move the breeding box to float in my other more established tank and give the moms and dads a rest. They constantly try to get to the fry, I'm thinking it might stress them. Also had to try to get my sponge filter perfect, which I still can't do, because it's making loud gurgling noises and every time it does it the fish freak out and dart around.

Started looking at paint colors..
I'm really liking bright blues or bright grays.

Oooo! Please do! I painted my room green and like a bright tan colour last year. I need to touch it up a bit. The new room is kind of small so I need colours to make it look bigger.

Edit: I also ordered a few things to treat parasites and fungus in my tanks.
Here's what I ordered:

I'll have to get a picture once I have some good lighting. I went with a more modern look for my room, my comforter is grey, my shelves are black, my fish tank stand is black, most of my posters are black and white, my chairs are black, but there are pops of pink and purple here and there, as well as a disco ball, plasma ball, fiber optic lamp, and of course, my fish tank to add some glow!

That sounds so cool. My room is rustic. Green walls, tan wall where my window is. Bed comforter is a mix of orange and white and tan and brown, natural colors. I have a white vanity, and then my cat kind of just ruins everything with his gray litter box and tan tree. Haha

Just added three ghost shrimp and a male guppy to the 2.5 to get it cycled. I know it's not the most humane way to do it, especially since it's probably stressing my male. But, he's chasing one of my pregnant females in the ten gallon and I'm scared of her dying.

Got different kinds of parasite medicine/fungus medicine today. Hoping my fry's clamped tail will go away now..

I had to move all males into the first ten gallon with the tetras. I have two male guppies with fin rot and my falx betta with a fungus infection in a hospital tank being treated and the treatment is working. All baby guppies (Have like 10 left) are getting their colors in and doing really good. Still planning the new room.. But don't want this thread to get closed.

Ahhh! Sorry to bring up an old thread, but now I have the O.K. for the new room, and am moving in to it September 1st!

Still need to figure out my stands and get a few more tanks.

I lost all fish except my baby guppies who are now like.. Two months old, a new batch of 20-30 guppies that are two weeks old, their parents (two female guppies, one female mosquito fish), my gourami that is in the turtle tank and doing great, my pleco that is now pushing six inches and is in with the turtles, my two catfish.. I had four Oto's but lost one right after a water change, down to three and would love to complete that "school" after the new room is situated. Still have my Endler pair, a micro crab, my betta Falx.

New additions to the room have been two Fire Bellied Toads and two new Betta's.

I'm in the process of getting a few 30-60 gallon tanks and one 200 gallon coming with a stand, filters, lights, etc. they want 600 for the 200 and all its supplies. Trying to get him to come down to 300-400 for all tanks and supplies.

The deal fell through once we learned they were over an hour away. Next weekend we are picking up a 29 gallon biocube and a 55 gallon with filter and lights for 350.

Really excited to get the 29 but also nervous because I have never had a salt water tank before.

Moving into the new room starts Saturday. I'll be cleaning TOp to bottom and painting. Then starting on the stands and hopefully have them done sometime that week.

We decided to get the 29 cube and then a 145 custom tank. The 145 is going to be 350 plus forty for a sump. Unsure on 29 prices atm.

How in the world do I make a sump?
