My fish keep dying and I read here that fish with stringy white poop could have a parasite. is this normal or parasite poop? I can’t tell i’ve never had a fish before. the only fish left are my dalmation molly & my platy, my platy has been acting strange but I saw the poop from the molly. I really don’t want them to get sick and die

What are your water readings and what's the temperature of the tank? It could be a parasite if it's white and very stringy, but not always does that mean that your fish is infected with something.

the temperature is 78°F. I went to petsmart to have them test it because I don’t have my own kit and they said the ammonia was high but if I put bacteria in the tank it will eat the ammonia. I clean the tank every week 20% water change with conditioned water & bacteria.

Just squirting a bit of safe start or another product in there, won't necessarily always work. The temperature seems fine, but the problem is most likely the ammonia. If you have any other set up tanks, I recommend moving them there or rehoming them to a friend or LFS. Unless you want to try to fully cycle the tank with them in it.

can I fully cycle the tank with them in it?

Yes, it's called a fish in cycle. You do run the risk of them dying and they might go through ammonia burns, but it can be done.

could I do like a 30% water change and do it 3 times in 1 week to get all the bad water out? also when I do a water change how long should I leave the conditioner/bacteria in the new water before putting it into the tank?

Water conditioner works instantly. You can do 50% water changes daily for a few days to get the levels down then every other day for awhile then every 3 days.
