I bought a single young angelfish yesterday and I was afraid he would go around nipping other fish. To my surprise the guppies and neons are nipping on him, what should I do?

What size is your tank? What other inhabitants do you have and how many of each? What are your parameters?
Do you have plants or hiding spots in the tank?

esI would remove them or him if you can for a couple of days. Do you have plants real or fake so there are hiding places for the angelfish to hide? The neons are not compatible with angel for two reasons. the neons need cooler water, the angels 80 degrees. As the angel get bigger he will eventually eat the neons. I would also remove the guppy fish if they are nipping. then build your stock around the angel. Schooling fish that get along with angel need to live in the same water temp, be very peaceful, and be big enough not to be a fish snack. Some good ones are schooling fish such as, cherry barbs, harlequin rasboras, glowlight tetras, black neon tetras, rummynose tetras, cardinal tetras, warm water cory cats, kuhlI loaches ...Alison...
