Fish 'n' Flush! Fish in the bathroom...

lol okay. So this is a toilet... that has a fishtank, completely separate and in front of the toilet tank. What a great idea! I love the idea... but it'd be a tough tank.

It's only 2.2 gallons. It comes with a filter.. but I'd also get a heater. The dimensions are a little tough as well. They obviously have way too many fish in there for the picture.. but I really bet it's for the picture.

I'd do a lot of research before deciding what I'd put in it... and obviously... I wouldn't be able to get one for quite a few years.. and by then, hopefully they make the tank a little bigger. But man! I love the idea!! What do you think?

I remember seeing how they are made on a show not to long ago. They are great for a person who lives in an apartment and don't have taht much room for a large tank.

Yea, I'd like one of those too.. Not sure what I'd put in there with only 2.2g to work with either.. but the idea is fun and could still be a decent little tank.. maybe a ADF? that'd be fun for guests.

My local PetCo has these little tiny bumble bee fish.. I need to go back and look at the name.. but they are seriously maybe half an inch... I think adult size. They are so tiny I remember not wanting to put them in with my gourami. I think it would be cute to have a whole tank of those little guys.. but like I said, I'd have to do a lot of research first!

How would you go heating it though? The other chamber is constantly being refilled with cold water - maybe cold water fish are required

yea, it would need a good heater but I wonder what a flush would do to the temp.. acrylic holds heat in really well though.

I could add it to my fry tanks! I need some more tanks anyway, so 1 of them would do well as a grow-out tank for a few weeks at a time.

I wouldn't think the temperature would be that badly affected, as the pictures show a clear gap between the two tanks. Still need to be a 50W or better though.

Probably bumble bee goby, get 1" max in captivity and almost all are brackish. Are territorial of their own kind and is recommended at least 1 gallon per goby when living together.

I honestly wouldn't mind one in my bathroom but wouldn't spend the money

I agree to all the above I am totally at the mercy of my fish LOL
The fish and flush is cute ! wonder how stressful the flushing sound and the water around the tank receding would be. The constant refill of cold water might cause temp fluctuations. anyway you could put it in the spare bathroom and not let anybody use it

hmm I think little boys would have a problem peeing without some one watching them, I would feel weird! I donno if I want a bunch of fish looking at my bipper. but any way I like it I would use it for a fry tank!! would be the best size and give you a warm welcoming in there to go potty
