I'm going on vacation for two weeks and I have a couple care options for my betta and I'm looking for opinions:

1) a Co worker offered to look after them while I'm gone but I would have to keep them in unfiltered unheated bowls since I can't bring my aquariums in to work.

2) leave them in their home aquariums (5G and ~20G) untended for the two weeks.

With option (1) they would be in small bowls with no heater and no filter but I'd leave conditioned water for a water change and they would be fed.

With option (2) they would be in their home tanks which I would thoroughly clean before I leave but they wouldn't be fed for two weeks (11/2-16).

Which option would you go with?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, your fish will be completely fine at home while you are on vacation, but if you can have someone come over to check on them or even feed them at least once, that'd be fine.
I would personally go for option two, it's better than a fish going without a filter or heater, and things could go wrong that way, but that is me.

Yeah, i think staying at home is far better than an unfiltered unheated bowl.
