Fish Identification (comets?)

    Hi All, Are these Comets. I acquired them last week. they are around 7" not including tails.

    Those both look like Comets to me. ( I had to look it up TBH.) Pretty fish.

    "Whilst the common goldfish has 'stiff' fins, the Comet has long flowing ones; it is also smaller than 'regular' goldfish. However the main way to differentiate between the two is the Comet's long heavily forked tail; they have a slim body and only have a tail fin and a single analfin"

    Yep, those are comets. Very nice ones too :)

    The orange one is definitely a comet. The pale one is probably a comet, will need a side view to be sure. comet tails are longer and have a sharp fork compared to commons.

    I agree with the others that they're likely Comets. But if they have a pair of barbels, which goldfish do not, then they're butterfly koi.
