In this pic it's on the white rock, just under the other fish. Kind of stands on its front fins?

Is the first picture and the last the same fish?

The last picture makes it look like some kind of goby judging by the fins.

Might be different fish, there were 5 or 6 small fish like these, but 2 stood/perched up on their fins? It was cute.

My guess would be some type of Goby then. But there is a lot!

They look like Chinese algae eaters, Bala Sharks, and maybe Dennison Barbs?

Thanks to all.

Here's the shocker. Looks like a common, and I think this tank is a 55g. He's scary huge, and lives in a black beard forest. He ate flakes from the surface. Wow. Also not pictured were 2 plate sized angelfish. Not good. They hide in one corner they barely fit in. :(

Get more info on all the inhabitants and when you go back why not try to educate them a bit on the fish in there and their tank size, compatibility, temp ranges...etc.. Maybe u can make a difference and they will upgrade to a 125 or bigger or rehome and do more fish that fit in the current tank. It's worth a shot.
