Fish hanging out at bottom of tank..

kiramon2

Fish seems to be fine normally? It has had some longer poo with like a singular air bubble in it and some clear-ness, so not sure if that's some parasite or something. But it hangs out on the bottom of the tank a lot -- still eats and swims around when I turn the light on and feeding etc, but every morning I wake up and it's just floating still at the bottom with its tail down.

I know the bottom of the tank has the least amount of flow so I assume that's why it hangs out down there, but just trying to make sure there's nothing seriously wrong... note he's had the bent fin since I got him...

(The picture of him at the actual bottom is from today, but it's without a light so that's why he looks so much more dull lol)

Goldfish are cold water so they don’t need a heater
Oh is also a little high
Has it been eating readily?

I read Oranda's require a bit higher heat than typical goldfish, so i keep it at 72 (it goes to 74 with the temp outside).

He eats like a monster. ;p

Does it have any noticeable marks or spots ?

Nothing not visible in the attached photos. It did have some hairlike thing on its wen, but it seems to have gone away... i think it was actually hair from water changes (The last picture shows it a little bit) :(

I think you should just observe for now and see if anything changes

Okay, I got a picture today of the white thing that looks longer now. Never seen an anchor worm, but not sure if that's what it is? If it is something, IDK what to do to get rid of it.

He has been hanging at the bottom of the tank for a while.
