Fish food stickable tablet

I was told there is chances tetras might get swim bladder issue when eating from surface because the air get in when they eat. Idk if this is true but I'm going to get stickable fish food tablet as tetra are mid dweller.

However, i concerned about how many fish a tablet feed and will it overfeed. Wanted to know if the average size fish food tablet is too much for 15 neons.

They get bloat, not swim bladder (they all have a swim bladder) from accidently gulping air.

You can feed a tablet maybe 1-2x a month and do a fast day the day after. I would feed them granulate or pellets. They also love frozen and live food but that should be limited to 1-2x a week.

Talking about a sera o-nip tab? I think they'd be alright size-wise. But I've heard mixed reviews about the quality. I tried them and was unimpressed but some people love them. Personally I think you're fine to just feed flake.

Never used one myself. My tetras so far haven't gone to the surface for food either. My danios eat up top, but everything else acts like the food doesn't exist until it starts sinking. Which isn't long.

Since they changed the formula the reviews got mixed. The original formula is only available here where they produce the stuff. It's basically pressed flakes. One tablet feeds 20-30 fish the size of neons and when it drops to the bottom 10 cories can get their share too. Less fish better only get fed 1/2 of a tablet.
I think they also tend to bring too many particles in the water for hours.

I use JBL Novotabs, I just break them into halves or quarters if it's too much for the fish. One half feeds my lampeye congo tetras (10) and diamond tetras (7), so a whole tab would be a lot for 15 neons.

Thank you for the replies. Surprised that i should only feed them 1-2 times per month as i ordered so many and it will probably last for years. I got many types of food for my fish as i love experimenting with them and see their reactions. I will try and see once i get my delivery

It seemed obvious to me to break the tablets up?
A quarter of a tablet still sticks quite well. The dark side sticks a little better.
As far as how good a quality they are. They are dry food nothing more. Just convenient for the human like all dry foods. Fish we eat anything but most fish would probably prefer a mosquito or a wiggly worm.

Provided you feed a whole tablet at once. And even with less I'd be sparse. They are bad for water quality.

I wasn't thinking of splitting the tablets. Lucky that i ask here so i can learn something even some easy stuff that won't come to my mind
