hey

i was wondering how long you can use food for before it looses its nutritional value for the fish...i know if you freeze it it lasts longer, is this even true of flake? thanks

I think that some dont have an expiration date. What I have found is that when the flakes "get soft" and arent crispy anymore is when they arent good. The fish will let you know as well, they will not be very happy eating food that has gone bad.

I like to eat them and see if they are stale or not, so Tom, that's the best way.

WOW, I am pretty sure there has to be a better way than eating that stinky fish food. On the other hand salute to you, you are a trooper.

I never need an excuse...I have more money invested in there than the grocery store
