Fish flicking on plants

Blueberrybetta

Do you mean like "scratching" themself against stuff ? Scratching is a sign of ich . Could you post any pictures ?

If no white spots i wouldn't worry. I have several fishes that occasionally like to rub themselves against plants or substrate. They've been doing it for months and months but otherwise seem like normal healthy fishes.

Yes they are flicking their bodies against plants and gravel but right now they aren't doing it if I see them doing it again I will try to post pic. They are small so I don't know how well pics will turn out

How long have you had them for? Add any new plants or fish you didnt quarantine?

What I think you are describing is described as “flashing”. Have you checked your water lately? What are your parameters?

No I have had my rummy nose for two weeks. I did add two new plants but I soaked them in aquarium water for a week before adding to tank
