I can’t be the only one having really weird dreams about their fish.

• I dreamt be betta had hands instead of pictorial fins and he was using them to eat pellets (kind of like a hamster does).
• I dreamt about someone thinking they accidentally killed my fish, replaced it and putting my fish in a plant pot?? (This dream was a mess and I honestly don’t really know what happened).
• Today I dreamt I was on an airplane traveling through space and when I got home I had 2 betta tanks and 1 paradise fish tank and the paradise fish had columnaris . I woke up before I could of started to treat the fish in my dream lol.
• Lastly, I have so many dreams where my betta dies .

Anyone else have weird fish dreams? I would love to hear them. I think dreams in general are pretty interesting and also really funny lol.

I had a dream where my guppy was this galaxy purple color and he was swimming through air, then he got closer to me and then my mom slapped him away, then, he hit the wall and there was this purple smudge on the wall.

Your poor guppy!! I had a similar dream except without the fish and the slapping lol. Everything was purple and floating

 

I think I've had dreams about where my Betta dies or something happens. I never remember dreams though.

 

I have recurring dreams about stuff going wrong in my tanks. Usually the dream is a room full of big, well-stocked tanks (awesome!) but then fish start jumping out of them and I can't catch/pick them up to put them back, or one fish gets really big and starts eating the others, or I just know the parameters are wrong but can't figure out how to fix it. It's not scary per say, but certainly makes me wake up anxious.

 

I have had dreams where my fish swim through the air and go everywhere with me. Even it the bathroom and the shower.ead:

And this isn’t fish related but I have a recurring dream of my dad dying

 

Just last night I dreamt that I dumped my brine shrimp hatchery out before they were done hatching.

I’ve had so many other dreams about my fish that I can’t quite remember, although many of them are along the lines of one dying, getting sick, or having babies.
In the latter case, I always wake up disappointed that there’s no fry lol.

I had one of my mom dying

 

I had a dream last year of our old dog dying, I woke up and was so glad to see her. Sadly, we lost her in July, she was almost 16.

 

I'm cycling my first tank, researching like crazy, and impatiently waiting to add fish. Because of all that, I've been having all kinds of dreams about my tank, the cycle, and all the different YouTubers I'm watching for research. Lol

I think I've had dreams about where my Betta dies or something happens. I never remember dreams though.

Those dreams are always the worst , but then I wake up and see my betta is perfectly fine and there is nothing wrong with my tank thankfully.

I had one of my mom dying

I've never had dreams where my family members die, but I had a dream where I was dying . I was conscious while my skin was drying out and I even felt it. I remember thinking to myself to not look in the mirror because I didn't want to see myself looking like a mummy as the last thing I see. That dream still creeps me out.

I hate waking up and feeling disappointed something didn't happen lol. I dreamt my betta didn't have finrot anymore and I had a split 15 gallin with a female betta. Then I woke up to an empty 10 gallon tank since this was before I set it up lol.

 

Those dreams are always the worst , but then I wake up and see my betta is perfectly fine and there is nothing wrong with my tank thankfully.

I had plenty of falling dreams. I had a dream where the school secretary drowned me in a pool and I woke up with my heart beating faster than I knew was possible. I think I was actually holding my breath.

When I was 5, I had a dream where I was dumbed into a huge crowd of people by a garbage truck. And I got that falling feeling... It felt like I was falling through my bed. I would have those dreams all the time, haven't had one in several months now

i’ve had a bunch of dreams where i’ve died too.

I had one where I got captured by pirates on a field trip...? And than blew myself and the pirates up because they were about to bomb my family’s ship. That was a strange dream, to say the least.

 

Last night I had a really weird dream about how some kids were building an aquarium on an airplane. Also for some reason my betta was screaming profanities at me the whole time.

 

Hah. When I was like 4 or 5 I had a dream where there was a dump truck in the backyard that wanted to kill me. I don't even know why I was scared of a truck. I really liked trucks when I was little.
When I was that age I also though there was some kind of Space Ostrich (I think I mixed an astronaut and an ostrich) that wanted to eat me.

I had a unique imagination.

So I’ve had dreams about my fish in the past, but last night was a new one. I actually had a dream about Mike ! I don’t remember much of it but I remember I basically just ended up meeting him in my LFS. You guys have made it into my subconscious now???

Sounds way more pleasant than the dreams i have. Most of those are called "flashbacks".

I had a dream about getting this awesome 1,000 gallon tank filled with Arowanas and other monster fish.

 

I never had a fish dream. I want a dream where I own an oscar, arowana, flowerhorn, mbu puffer, a 125 gallon fancy goldfish tank, another 125 with a huge school of neon tetras, a massive guppy tank, a pacu tank, a HUGE molly tank, a– oh well, the list is endless. XD

 

I had one once. It was pretty strange. It had to do with FinalFins having a kiddie pool with a BN pleco wearing a vest and sunglasses with a cane. The kiddie pool cracked and a bunch of Fishlore members showed up (bodies with their avatars as heads ???) and help him take care of it.
I have no idea why it happened but it did.

I always have dreams about going to my pet store and they just happen to have EXACTLY what I am looking for, lol. Last night I dreamed that my plecos im trying to breed (IRL) layed eggs.

 

I frequently dream about my fish. I have re-occuring dreams that I'm scuba diving with them and them following me. Sometimes I have nightmares where I'm moving to a new house and overly stressing out my prized puffer.

 

I had a dream I owned a huge fish store with all kinds of exotic fish last night. Waaaaay better than my usual dreams of being attacked by something lol

 

Your guy’s fish dreams are awesome! I just remembered one that’s pretty funny- my mom is always nervous that my BN is gonna end up getting feet long because she’s seen the common plecos before. Well I ended up having a dream where he got 4 feet long and broke my 45g open cuz he was so big
