I haven't posted on these forums in years!

Anyways I came back to show a little project I have done while we are all staying at home. Setup some webcams I had laying around and put up a live stream of my 55G fresh water tank. This tank has been in use 6 years now and I just spent of time a bunch reviving its look, algae growth etc otherwise it is perfectly balanced. Feel free to critique or advise or just enjoy watching it.

Thanks, I did a lot of upgrades that are not shown in the picture too. The air bubbler is brand new and silent(YAY), the UV filter is new to help control algae build up. Then I added a autoleveler system with a 10 gallon reserve and better heater. Glad to be back, for the last 3-4 years its just been minimal upkeep and keeping the inhabitants happy so it was time for a new project.

Thanks for a pleasant video with a stable image, not filmed by a wobbly operator.

Thanks, I secured everything with velcro and zipties so it did not move around. I really want to get a 4k camera for this now but they are sold out everywhere or 2x the price because of the lock downs!

Not for live streaming, they are all pretty limited when you want a live feed. I will probably need a Logitech Brio for that quality. I actually have a few go pros from my drone racing

Hero 7 Blacks can Live Stream, but I forgot they only do it in 720p.

This project started out of boredom during quarantine I put this live cam up of my fish tanks, seems quite a few people have already expressed they are enjoying it so I am gonna keep it going. Enjoy!

Today's live stream. ( Feeding time in 10-15 minutes)

I know this may be a lame answer but I would restart your device and try again. I'm an IT guy and it's stupid how many problems that fixes without reason.

Do other YouTube videos play normal?

I click once and it loads from display picture to video, then once more to start playing. Are you guys on mobile or computer browser?

On mobile for me. Everything else loads fine, but I think I can remember having issues with watching videos off of this platform before.

Hmm, I used to have issue with images loading on the Fishlore app back when that was still running. But not since I started viewing the forum from Chrome

You might also try clicking on the title (if it displays) which should open the video with the official YouTube app. And not play through your web browser.

Thanks guys, I got a little busy. I been trying to stream once a week so I can actually enjoy the tank when I want too now. I am thinking Wednesday is gonna be my all day stream every week!

Sorry for the issue with playing it, figured since it was youtube would be no big deal!

You can always replay old ones as well they are over 12 hours streams when I do them
