Fish bullying when eating

Hello all. I am having an issue with my danios bullying my cory catfish during feeding time. During all other times they basically just school with their own kinds and leave each other alone. I feed flakes for the danios and sinking tablets for the corys. The first minute is okay because the danios eat their floating food but once they are done they bully the catfish for their food and like nip at them to get the food even though I am not sure they are even able to eat it. I have tried feeding at different sides of the tank and at night, as soon as the danios see the catfish eating they starting going crazy for their food. I have 6 zebra danios and 5 cory catfish in a 29 Gallon tank. They have been together for a couple months now. I thought the problem might go away once they got used to each other but apparently not. Any suggestions?

Do you feed the danios first or last?

Wondering if you fed the cories first then the danios if that would distract them when their food arrives. Worth a shot at least.

you can try this,
feed then both at the same time, but feed the bottom feeders all of there food, while feeding the top dwellers only a small portion at a time, It might cause the danios to chase the small amount, then each other, then the next small amount, and the next, while the bottom feeders eat. and even in between small amounts you could splash/stir the water a little with your fingers, they may chase and surch the water surface long enough for the cories to eat in peace.
