Fish Bent Spine

Hello, what can cause a fish to develop a bent spine and sunken belly other than tb? I have lost a lot of fish like this but still have several originals who seem fine. I would like to treat my tank before getting new fish and losing them like I was before. Thank you.

1. Poor Water Quality
2. Vitamin & mineral deficiencies
3. Inbred Deformities

Do a google search on dropsy in aquarium fish. It is more of a symptom than a specific disease.

A bent spine is genetic.

Sunken belly can be a number of things.

What kind of fish is it?

Bent spine can be genetic. Sunken stomach can be internal parasites. If your fish are still eating, a medicated fish food would be the best treatment for internal parasites.

Are these adult fish or young fry. With some species such as guppies if juvenile fish grow up without adequate lighting they can develop curved spines.
