Fish And Mirror

    Friends are looking at some videos; Why are they putting small mirrors in my fish aquarium?

    sometimes some animals don't recognize themselves in a mirror and think it's a different animal altogether
    like some people can trigger betta fish into flaring at its own reflection because it will think its another male

    So that is actually a trick used with apistogramma when in smaller tanks actually. It gets a male going on the defensive of the "other male" letting the female get a break if not ready for breeding.

    I don't understand, the male fish sometimes hits the female fish

    That's usually trying to force breeding or territorial behavior. Use a mirror to cause the male to have a new target.

    I put aggressive 2 mirrors against male mirror
    But sometimes she gets angry at the female fish
    When will this happen?
    Male - female fish side 5 days
    Today I only put 2 mirrors
