Hello Fishlore,
I believe I know enough about guppy fry to care for them but I have a few questions and would love to hear some tips or tricks.
firstly, the guppy that gave birth is about 3 months old I believe. She doesn’t look like an adult. I noticed her Gravid spot was very dark so I knew she was pregnant. Since this is my first time (and first few days) of owning and breeding guppies, I would love to receive some tips. She gave birth to 17+ fry (still catching more).
I have a few questions
1. How long until I can put them in a community tank? Only other fish are endlers, corys, and minnows.
2. How often should I feed them? I am feeding them decapsulated BAby brine shrimp.
3. When should I start to feed? They were all born today, some have more yolk sack than others.
4. For how long can I keep them in a breeder box? My betta (the tank they would be going in) doesn’t seem to want to eat them, he is pretty relaxed and barely territorial. He is used to sharing space.
5. also random question, my guppy’s poop is bright red, is this normal? I’ll post a pic
This is the guppy poop which is much more red in person.

Here are the fry. 17 of them in the box, I’ve seen one more in the tank.

The mom, Japan Blue Gold Double Sword Guppy

Thanks for any help!
