Just thought I'd share some photos of the new additions to my daughter's tank. We love these guys, they are great together and so much fun to watch.

I think it's a male and female but give me your opinions.

This is a male I'm thinking.

This is a female I hope

Only had them in there since yesterday evening but they have some color coming back, they were pretty pale at the shop.

And I'm making my guess on the sex based on their vents but I admit I am new to this.

Does anyone have a knack for telling the difference that could confirm or correct me? Thanks all!

They both look females on vents to me.

Thanks for the input. Do Bolivians usually do ok with two females and no male?

What size tank? Yeah they should be fine. If you get a male then one might pair of and they would be aggressive to the other.

It's a 20 high right now but we're getting them a 20 long. We were wanting to try and have fry, so might have to try to find a male one of these days.
