    Rams in my experience have been nice enough not to bother inhabitants other than each other, but tough enough not to take any guff from a pushy fish. They do need at least one hiding place per ram to feel secure, it seems, and security will help reduce aggression (and make them less shy) because they won't feel defensive.

    I would recommend getting the glass cats locally if you can. They're awfully easy to injure during shipping. As far as the rams, I would get them from harpua2002 or RogueAgent94, both on this forum. I got mine from petsmart but they turned up with camallanus worms (thankfully the members here know who to ask for what seems to be the only cure, Levamisole HCl.)
